Porterville ends the year
Porterville Branch has a successful and enriching LOA year with a cozy tea party ended. The management under the supervision of their competent President, Mary-Ann van Schalkwyk, the tables neatly covered and delicious refreshments prepared.
Loubser Leandré the true meaning of Christmas brought home with her beautiful mexican food singing and proper lecture by Lindy van Schalkwyk. It was all a little tender moment Lené Loubser and her mom sang.
It is also during this event gave recognition to members with 100% attendance and 5-year to 25-year badges were distributed. And then continue the award at the year-end function's always one of the highlights. This year we had 42 competitions in which 13 members participated with 100 entries in total. Lydia Liebenberg was the overall winner this year.
The celebration mexican food of the branch's birthday on 8 November, annually given special attention. Our branch is celebrating our 84th anniversary. Our two honorary members, and Smuts Tinkie Esther van Zyl, the icing on the birthday mexican food cake blew. Both these ladies are already 63 years a member of the LOA.
The disclosure of the Secret Girlfriends again like every year accompanied by shouts of surprise and excitement. The glorious fellowship of the members during this event is once again proof of Porterville members' solidarity, caring for each other and nice cooperation. And it predicts that 2014 will again be an excellent LOA-year look!
